Esteme on executing the sketches:

Yo Bates,
I really must have done atleast 20 outlines. I'm not that nice at B's but I
had fun messing with different shit for the holes. On the first one, the
arrow is supposed to be an extention of the bar of the 'A', and go in and
out of the 'B'.

On sketch 2, I like the hollow styles because you can do some
wierd fill-in in the dimension .

4 is kind of silly with the unnecessary ninja character, but i like doing charachters
that move and are all chopped up in the piece. If I painted it I would paint him a little
darker and paint some of the bits that go through the middle of the piece the same color.

5 is the kind of style that I've been painting a lot. Its really screwed and chopped. I hope you can feel some of it...
peace.

Bates on executing sketch 5 :

Here it is, finally I rocked one of the many Bates outlines from Esteme,
I've chosen a simpler outline, cause here in january 2006 it's really cold. It was
a long wet night, but we crushed some virgin tents belonging to the DSB (railway company)!
I like the way it came out, I've tried to stay close to the sketch, but some changes happened along the way!
The structure is funny, cause I am mostly into symetrical stuff! But it was cool to try something different and get
out of the standard frame you normally piece under....tx Esteme, good looking out!

Coming correct as always. Great job on both ends! My favorite has to be the ninja piece.
Red and black work so well together!
