Rime on creating the sketches:

Inbetween working on a sketch for Totem I took a break and started drawing little thumbnail sized pieces for Esteme.
All of these pieces were drawn on one sheet of paper! This is a real stretch for me because I have a habit of drawing
too large and having to connect 3 to 4 sheets just to fit a piece. These pieces are all meant to be fun simple styles.
My favorite is the piece with the fat kid throwing up the 3-D of the 'EST'.
Do one or do em' all...
Rock on!

Esteme on viewing the sketches:

Fresh...I'm gonna while out on the The fat kid style and somehow swap in the "S-T" from the bottom right brown one.
I'll probably throw some extra meat balls and shit in ther too! Then I'm gonna  do the triangular styled one (Bottom left).
I'm gonna stretch it out and take that "T" and make it a bowtie for some nappy magician looking dude...I like the way
you mix the fats and thins. Too often, I get stuck keeping the thickness of my letters the same,
especially on simpler shit.....Its on.
peace.

Esteme on executing the "Bow Tie":

I had Quick, fresh, fun with the wierd angles...I started doing the shadow to the lower left but i forgot
about Rime's crazy drop shoadows...so the shadow kinda switches at the "s". I came with the Halloween
hand instead of the bow tie character......I still plan on doing at least one more this weekend...

Esteme on executing the "Happy E's:

I did this one a little too quickly but I like it. I like the 'E' into the 'S'
and the thin to thick bars that swoop and give it flow.

Esteme on executing "The Fat Kid":

So I made sure to snatch a crate from the gas station close to the yard so I could do the character, but when I started trying to lay it out on the train, I realized the way the piece flowed, specificly the way the 'T' goes into the 'E , I still couldn't get high enough to do the outline  as planned. That said, the flow is mad altered but I tried to keep the letters.I tried to make it float up to the right. the whole switching letters thing that I had said I would do in the first comment failed. It looked wack so I changed it...trying to balance it with the bubbles and splashes was challenging....I like it, the spacing was definately out of the comfort zone. It was mad fun to look at after I was done...one.
