Serch on creating the sketch:
Well Mr.Rime,
I thought that it was about that time for something special and
you -the guy who invented this whole Exchange project- was
the right guy to do it for in my opinion.
I hooked you up with a typical mid 80's European style sketch,
with the big tops, the long 3D's and the def connections and all that.
Just like Shoe, Bando or Cat22 would do it in that era and which
influenced alot of writers in Europe in those days, including me!
Besides that I took some tags for you in the handstyles we were
rockin back then!.....so check it all out and let me know what you
think!
Rime on viewing the sketch:
Looking fresh Serch! I am really going to do this one justice. I think
I may add some custom bboy characters and some other madness
into the mix! I'll keep ya posted...
Rime on executing the sketch:
I am a bit disappointed that I did not dedicate as much time into this sketch
as I would of liked. We went out to paint at dusk and started painting just as
soon as it got dark. Aloy, Revok and Eyons decided to do silver block letters
while I attempted to execute the Serch sketch. I knew these guys were going
to be done quick so I rushed the whole piece. I did the entire piece with fat caps
to save time and because the fence was so ridgy. I hate how lopsided some
of the 3-d's are and the reworked arrows I put in look terrible! I am almost
tempted to redeem myself and try this one again....
We'll see...

Well, I've gotta be honest with you...the outcome
isn't that bad but it kinda misses that 80's funk that
it supposed to have!
Especially the thick outlines and highlights....those
have to be as thin as possible....and it seems that
you've used Montana cans which is not the best
brand for these styles in my opinion.....
Maybe you can indeed redo it and I guess Rusto,
Krylon and stock caps will do the trick then!
