I was fucking around while waitng for Wifey to make me dinner
(she makes me big ass ones) and I got to flowing and did your name..
I decided to go with a hybrid 2d style with robotic bevels and ribbon arrows..
I was playing with that 'R' and made the 'I' sitting on it bboy style.
I also wanted the piece to have a "arrow war" on it.. so I popped a couple
real arrows shot into the main ones.. I dont think the 'E' flows as well as the
other letters.. but hell fuck it..
"When i say hip-hop, you say: started in da brooonx... ha haaaaa....."
That's what I wanted the "I' to say to the 40!

Much props given to the thought process and narrative incorporated into this sketch!
I like the overall treatment and character put into each letter. My favorite letter has
to be the 'I', it flexes as a solid letter even with the sideways cap and 'fat laced' kicks.
The variety of arrows add a lot of flavor to the overall piece. I like to add shading
and shadow to my latters so i fell this is right up my alley.
Maybe Me and Sever can rock out together on a Totem sketch and Totem sketch Exchange wall... How about it Sev??

Rime on executing the sketch:
This was the first time I ever tried a bevol styled piece. I tried my best to maintain that look,
but towards the end of completing the piece I started experimenting with some loose action lines.
I reshaped some of the letters slightly to give the piece a bit of a Rime feel. I am happy with the
the final outcome... I look forward to seeing what Totem does with the outline I will give him..
