HALF STEPPIN' - Doing shit half assed. To signify a person who fronts. A slacker

JUMPSTREET - 1. A term used to single out a young adolescent male who exhibits visible characteristics that causes others assume they are older then they are. i.e. A 12 yr. old with a full goatee and a size 11. 2. A young person who you think is an informant or a mole. A inner-outer. A reference to the hit TV show 21 JUMPSTREET starring Holly Robinson. "Yo the way that fool is acting I swear that dude is jumpstreet.

MAD - A term that makes anything seem exciting. An extreme form of something in abundance. i.e "Mad Street", "Mad Science" "Mad Real".

MAD STREET - As urban as it gets. To be in tune with the "Ghetto". Ears tuned to the streets. "Ayo' Sally is Mad Street Kid!"

PAPER BOY' - A self proclaimed graffiti writer that shows up at parties just to sign books. A sideliner. A seasonal quaterback. A "Paper Boy" is an individual who does not paint , strictly a black book bomber.

POISON' - A hot girl that will fuck your whole head up. A sample but don't date. Trouble. Term founded by the ultimate pimps "Bel Biv Devoe"... "That girl is Poison..... Never trust a big butt and a smile"

SAY WORD - A term chosen to acknowledge truth revealed. Founded by Fat Joe, popularized by Jersey Joe.

SPLOOSH - 1. A term used for when you achieve something dead on. - A derivative of the the imagined sound you say to yourself when you swish a 3-pointer. 2. A universal term, can be used to describe anything. Ex: Rather than calling a girl is a dime-piece you'd say 'Old-girl is mad SPLOOSH'. ( courtesy of Ewok)

STAAAARTED IN DA BROOOOOONX- A term used for extreme emergencies during a low point in an argument or debate. A wild card term that trumps any rebuttal. The term is mutual, commonly known and never contested. This term is never to be used lightly. The atom bomb of comebacks!

SUPREME DOPE - To be of extreme dopeness but not quite "Ultimate" dope. 85 - 90% dope on average. Great but with prior flaws

SUPREME FLY - To be of extreme flyness but not quite "Ultimate" fly. 85 - 90% fly on average. Great but with prior flaws

ULTIMATE DOPE - The pinnacle of dopeness. There is only one who may be doper but that one may be the reason for the remark. Bobby: "What you think of that hot fiyah burner Jerome?" Jerome: That shit is ULTIMATE DOPE KID!

ULTIMATE FLY - The pinnacle of flyness. The best looking. To be Ultimate Fly.

WAGWAN - The Jamaican term for "what's goin on", or "what's up". (courtesy of Host)

WORD STREET - A term used to recognize "the real". To acknowledge the street credibility in someone or something. Most often used as a response.

YO KID - 1. A loose way of addressing a fellow operator or peer. "Yo kid, Imma hit that shit". 2. An expression used to portray amazement. "YOOOO KID!"

YO SON - A blunt way of addressing a fellow operator or peer. A pretext for something about to "Go Down". Yo Son Imma bumrush these ninja's scientific!

Wherever I go I run into problems communicating with other writers when it comes to describing that shit that goes around your piece. Every city seems to have their own way of describing it. Here is a list of terms I came across used to describe that shit.
